Bought this in order to eq and tune a budget mic that i use for live streaming. It is a very versatile tool and for such a reasonable affordable price. The body is made out of very hard plastic i believe but it is very weighty and sturdy.
So the mic i got sounded very boomy, the high pass filter available on the mixer whilst engaged really helped with improving the clarity of the mic, it definitely also tightened up the bass. I then tweaked the eq and added a very subtle reverb to increase its sense of fullness. My viewers were very impressed that they even assumed/asked if i’ve upgraded my microphone!
I haven’t experienced any background noise whilst my mic was connected to the mixer (before then going to my audio interface)
